I judged 5 competitions back on TS2, but hey! These days all the cool kids play TS3, so I'm judging a contest, I'd say it's for beginners, but anyone can join.
It's called LittleRaysOfSunshine and looks to be a lively one folks!
(Not as lively as 'That's A Wrap' where a model dropped out because a sentence was in CAPS and she got offended.)

My first Assignment!

I've been considering it for a long time and I finally decided to do it! I've entered a competition. It's mainly for beginners so I should fit in just fine...


Here's my first assignment...

I remembered my grandma telling me about this breath taking lake up in the mountains. It took me all day to find this place, it took me back to my early years when I was still a photographer...
If only I'd remembered to bring my camera, it was just the way the flowers were intertwined as they circled the beautiful blue lake. Just the way she described it.
I let a few tears escape as I took a closer look, I stared ahead, expressionless as I pictured my grandmother sitting among the flowers - in grandpa's arms laughing the day away. I could see her marvelling at the flowers, jumping into the beautiful lake - not caring about her hair.
I couldn't help but want that for myself.

Here are some pictures of the computer itself :

It comes in a .package file, and has 3 recolourable channels.

The computer looks great in the game, and I run on lowest graphics settings.
It works like any other computer and has smooth animations. It's even shiny!

But yes, I am now a CC blog as well as just a Sims 3 blog! It may not look like it at the moment, but I'll be reviewing, touring and sharing my favourite CC! (I know I use a lot of '!' but I am genuinely a cheesy person.)

My laptop cd-rom player thing-a-ma-bob has broken. So while I wait for a new one to arrive I've decided to spend my simming time on the forums. And in the real world - but mostly in the forums.

Looking For Inspiration...

I didn't really plan on bringing up Diamonds, Vanity and Sunset Valley again because my save file became corrupted and being myself, I hadn't made a back up.

I have a few potential ideas for a story... But haven't decided yet. I find it hard to commit to stories on TS3.

Easing Myself Back Into The Sims

After having an awesome couple of days at Disneyland without my laptop I decided to ease myself in with some easy stuff. Such as the Landgrabb family. (Sorry if I misspelt it, it's a tricky word!)

I always feel sorry for the loner son of theirs. While other children already have friends this little guy starts out with none... So I took him to the park, where he played by himself.
*ChucklesNervously*

So I did what any good simmer would do, I gave him a toy!
Now he could build a relationship with someone!

But with the wonders of free will...




He chose a pregnant lady. Not a child.

I have a ton of these photos from catch, it's a really addictive photo op!


I'm gonna finish you off with a romantic picture of my favourite two sims...

Not exactly related to the loner child problemo...
But look at them!
I used my very own Michael Buble   and ThatAmi's Claire O'Shea. She's pretty cute.
I did remake Claire a little but I've sorta become attached to that girl.

I'm Actually Committing To This One...

So I sort of disappeared for a while, but I've decided I'm gonna try to post at least every week. I hope.
On Sunday I'm going to disneyland so I won't visit this site until Friday! (TwilightZoneTowerOfTerrorWOOP!)
But I'm thinking of making a story using some of the townsfolk EA's already included in the game, I tend to get bored of CAS sometimes, especially since my computer's too slow to run CC and I can't seem to get enough of that stuff!
I have a family I've been playing for a while so I might try using them but from the start... Catching you up would be hard as I'm on the 6th Generation. ;)
